How to create and manage events
This page explains the organizer workflow: from requesting access to creating events, configuring categories, and tracking registrations. The organizer panel is at /dashboard (dark theme, admin area).
1. Request organizer access
- Go to the For organizers page (link in the footer or public site menu).
- Click Request access.
- In the registration, choose the Organizer profile and fill in your details (name, email, CPF/CNPJ, phone, address).
- Read and accept the required legal documents (Terms of Use, Privacy Policy).
- Submit and wait for approval by the responsible team.
After approval, you will receive a confirmation email and can access
/dashboard.
2. Create your first event
In the dashboard, click Create event (or go to /eventos/novo).
Basic information
- Title: event name (e.g., "Dance Festival 2025").
- Slug: unique URL identifier (auto-filled from title; editable).
- Description: free text with formatting (Markdown/visual editor).
- Start date and End date (optional, for multi-day events).
- Start time and End time.
- Venue: venue name, address, city, state. Use CEP (postal code) to auto-fill.
- Organizer: your name (pre-selected).
- Horizontal banner (5:2 ratio) and Vertical banner (9:16 ratio) — upload images; the system adjusts without cropping.
- Style: choose one or more styles (e.g., "Belly dance", "Tribal Fusion").
Visibility (Status)
- Draft: in preparation, not visible to the public. Can save incomplete.
- Public: published and visible in the public agenda and searches. Requires complete data.
- Unlisted: published but only accessible via direct link. Does not appear in listings.
- Cancelled: event cancelled, not published.
Start as Draft. Only switch to Public or Unlisted when everything is reviewed.
Click Save. The event is created and you are taken to the event listing.
3. Configure categories (tickets/registrations)
Every event needs at least one category. The category defines what the participant buys or registers for.
Go to the event → Categories → New category.
Main fields
- Name: e.g., "Full price", "Half price", "Saturday Workshop", "3-day Pass".
- Description: what it includes (e.g., "Access to all shows + workshop").
- Price: price in BRL (R$). Use 0 for free registrations.
- Capacity: registration limit (leave blank for unlimited).
- Registration start and Registration end (dates/times).
- Minimum age and Maximum age (optional).
- Allows companion: whether the participant can register companions.
- Max quantity per order: limit per purchase (default 1).
- Status: Draft / Public / Unlisted / Cancelled (same rule as event).
Advanced options
- Room: associate with a registered room (for multi-room events).
- Judges / Criteria: if the category participates in competitive evaluation.
- Extra services: add optional services (T-shirt, DVD, transfer) that participants can select in the cart.
Save. Repeat to create as many categories as needed.
4. Publish the event
When all information is reviewed (details, categories, banners, venue, dates):
- Open the event for editing.
- Change Status to Public (or Unlisted if you want direct link only).
- Save.
The event now appears in the Public Agenda (/agenda) and on the home page (if it has a featured banner).
5. Track registrations
In the dashboard or event listing, click the event → Registrations (or go to /inscricoes?evento={id}).
What you see
- List of registrations with: participant, category, payment status, amount, date.
- Filters by category, payment status, period.
- Search by participant name, email, CPF.
- Totals: confirmed, pending, cancelled registrations, total revenue.
Main actions
- View details: opens full registration (participant data, companions, extra services, payment history, QR Code).
- Check-in (door): mark participant attendance on event day (enables QR Code).
- Export: generate PDF or XLSX reports (attendance list, financial summary, schedule).
- Announcements: send emails to registrants of a category or the whole event.
6. Payments (PIX / Mercado Pago / Agreements)
To receive online payments, configure in Profile → Payout (or in the dashboard, "Payout" card):
PIX
- Enable Receive via PIX.
- Enter: key type (CPF, CNPJ, email, phone, random), the key, recipient name and city.

- Allows creating custom installments for an eligible registration.
- Participant signs the agreement digitally (versioned acceptance).
Whenever the Payment Agreement is updated, the system will request a new acceptance before reactivating payments.
7. Reports and exports
In the Reports menu (or /relatorios) you find:
- Attendance list — by event/category/status, with PDF/XLSX export.
- Registration summary — by category/service, status and period, with export.
- Event schedule — registered times, with export.
- Detailed schedule — presentation order by participant (16 decisions D1–D16), 2,000 row limit.
- Evaluation sheets — blank sheets by category/judge/registration (1 sheet/page), 500 limit.
- Revenue and Financial — consolidated view of income, fees, net amount.
All reports respect organizer isolation: you only see data from your own events.
Important tips
- Review before publishing: dates, venue, categories, prices, banners. What is "Public" is what participants see.
- Banners: upload good quality images. The system preserves aspect ratio (5:2 horizontal, 9:16 vertical) without cropping.
- Clear categories: use names participants understand ("Full price", "Half price", "Beginner Workshop").
- Announcements: use to notify schedule changes, venue updates, or send pre-event info.
- Door check-in: enable check-in only on event day; participant QR Code only works after enabling.
- LGPD: participant data stays in your panel. Not exposed publicly.
Frequently asked questions
Can I edit an already published event?
Yes. Public or Unlisted events can be edited, but full validation is required on save. Changes to dates, venue, or price affect future registrations; existing registrations keep original conditions.
How do I stop an event from appearing in the agenda?
Change status to Draft (back to preparation) or Cancelled (definitive close). Unlisted keeps the event accessible via direct link but removes it from listings.
Can participants cancel their registration?
Depends on category configuration and organizer policy. Cancellation may be automatic (frees up spot) or require approval. Check the registration detail screen.
How does money payout work?
- PIX: goes directly to your key, minus platform fee (if any).
- Mercado Pago: follows Mercado Pago flow (balance in MP account, withdrawal per their rules).
- Agreements/Direct PIX/Receipt: you validate manually; money arrangement is between you.
Can I have multiple organizers on the same event?
The event has one responsible organizer (owner). Other organizer-role users can be added as collaborators on specific categories/rooms, but financial management and reports stay with the responsible organizer.
